Road Scholar

L’Auberge du Mont is a proud provider of programs for older adults in association with ROAD SCHOLAR. Since our beginnings in 1990, we have offered over 200 program weeks to more than 7000 participants. Our 30 years of experience allows us to maintain consistently high ratings and the “Most Popular” program designation.

Set amidst the maple forest of the Laurentian foothills, this site offers the serenity of nature in close proximity to Quebec City. Originally built as a ski lodge, L’Auberge du Mont is now operated by and located on the same site as a private secondary school celebrating over 66 years of educational programs. The log-cabin style meeting room provides a charming environment for group activities and free-time mingling. A beautiful lake reflecting the color of the surrounding trees and hiking trails through the maple forest embellish this exceptional site. Although “L’Auberge du Mont” literally means “Inn of the Mountain”, we are best described as a conference center whose primary mission is that of education. Most of our clients come as groups for educational programs created by our staff. Providing outstanding educational experiences offered in an ambiance of friendship and warmth is our main goal.

ROAD SCHOLAR programming runs each spring in June and each fall from late August to mid-October. Follow the Road Scholar link for program dates, details, itinerary, prices and for registration. Once on the Road Scholar site, use the Keyword Search to find our programs. (Use Auberge du Mont, or the program numbers shown below.) Please feel free to contact us directly for any questions you may have prior to or after registration.
